Designing how work should work.

I work with organizations that know something is more complicated than it should be—manual steps, disconnected platforms, unclear ownership, broken handoffs, or duplicate data. I help redesign the system behind the work.

Most technology problems are not really technology problems.

I design the operational systems that connect people, processes, data, and technology across complex organizations.

What looks like a technology problem is often a process problem, ownership problem, handoff problem, data problem, or a collection of systems that were never designed to work together.

I identify the root problem, then design the operational and technical architecture around it. That can mean advising at the strategic level, working hands-on to architect and build the solution, or guiding the teams and vendors responsible for execution.

Strategy when you need direction. Execution when you need it built.

Each engagement is shaped around the operating problem—not a predetermined platform or packaged technical deliverable.

01

Automation & systems integration

Turn disconnected manual processes into connected operating systems.

Too much work happens because one system does not know what another system is doing. I design automation ecosystems that move information, enforce business logic, coordinate decisions, and make the next action clear—rather than building isolated automations that create another layer to manage.

What this can include

  • Workflow automation
  • Power Automate
  • APIs & webhooks
  • System integrations
  • Routing & approvals
  • Notifications
  • Data synchronization
  • Automated project creation
  • Process orchestration
  • Form-to-system integrations
  • Conditional rules
  • Exception & status management
02

CRM, lead journeys & marketing funnels

Design the journey from first interaction to long-term relationship.

A CRM is only useful if the journey around it makes sense. I connect technology, communication, process, and data so leads can move from capture through qualification, nurture, conversion, and ongoing relationship management with clear ownership at every stage.

What this can include

  • CRM architecture
  • Lead lifecycle design
  • Customer journey mapping
  • Lead capture & routing
  • Automated nurture
  • Email sequences
  • Lifecycle stages
  • Ownership rules
  • Marketing-to-sales handoffs
  • Form strategy
  • Lead scoring concepts
  • Follow-up automation
  • Campaign workflows
  • Conversion strategy
  • CRM data architecture
03

Operational systems & process design

If no one can clearly explain what happens next, the process needs redesigning.

I look beyond individual tasks to understand how work moves through the entire organization. Then I redesign the handoffs, ownership, decisions, exceptions, and visibility around a system people can actually follow and adopt.

What this can include

  • Process mapping
  • Operational workflow design
  • Intake systems
  • Request routing
  • Project workflows
  • Compliance workflows
  • Ownership models
  • Approvals & governance
  • Exception handling
  • Standardized processes
  • Workflow documentation
  • Operational visibility
  • Cross-functional handoffs
  • Project lifecycle architecture
04

MarTech & digital workplace strategy

Your technology stack should operate like an ecosystem, not a collection of subscriptions.

I help organizations create a more coherent environment for marketing, collaboration, communication, and digital operations—rationalizing platforms, connecting the right systems, and establishing governance that makes the ecosystem easier to use and evolve.

What this can include

  • MarTech stack assessment
  • Platform architecture
  • Technology rationalization
  • Software evaluation
  • SharePoint & intranet strategy
  • Microsoft Teams & 365
  • Project management systems
  • Forms & webinar platforms
  • Marketing platforms
  • Integration strategy
  • Platform governance
  • Digital workplace architecture
  • Technology adoption
  • Purpose-built landing pages, portals & microsites

Lightweight web experiences are available when they support a broader operational, campaign, event, or marketing objective—not as ongoing website maintenance.

05

AI & technology advisory

Start with the business problem—not the latest technology.

I help leaders evaluate emerging technology, find practical AI opportunities, and build roadmaps grounded in how the organization actually works. The focus is strategic and operational: where a new capability can improve a real process, what it requires, and how it can be used responsibly.

What this can include

  • AI opportunity assessment
  • AI-assisted workflows
  • Generative AI strategy
  • Technology roadmaps
  • Emerging technology evaluation
  • Vendor & platform selection
  • Process modernization
  • Intelligent automation
  • Knowledge management concepts
  • AI governance considerations
  • Architecture reviews
  • Software selection
06

Fractional technology & operations leadership

Executive-level technology and operations leadership, when you need it.

I provide the bridge between executive priorities, business teams, and technical vendors—combining the perspective of fractional technology leadership and digital operations advisory without forcing the engagement into one title.

What this can include

  • Technology strategy
  • Operational roadmaps
  • Vendor evaluation
  • Investment prioritization
  • Workflow redesign
  • Implementation oversight
  • Team & technology alignment
  • System ownership
  • Governance
  • Automation opportunity planning
  • MarTech strategy
  • Leadership advisory
  • Implementation planning

Available as ongoing fractional leadership, an advisory retainer, project-based strategic leadership, interim guidance, or executive technology advisory.

Understand the work. Design the system. Keep improving it.

A practical consulting process that moves from lived operating reality to a solution people can use.

  1. 01Understand

Learn how the organization works today: people, systems, processes, pain points, constraints, and business goals.

  2. 02Design

Map the future-state process and define the technology and operating architecture needed to support it.

  3. 03Connect

Build or coordinate the workflows, integrations, automations, platforms, and ownership model.

  4. 04Improve

Measure what works, find remaining friction, refine the system, and continue optimizing.

Technology expertise is only useful when you understand the business around it.

My career has crossed marketing, communications, CRM, project management, operations, enterprise automation, Microsoft 365, systems architecture, and MarTech leadership.

That range lets me understand what leadership needs, what the business user experiences, how data should move, how workflows should behave, how technology should be configured, and what it will take for a new process to be adopted.

I work in the space between business strategy and technical implementation.

You might need me if…

These are often signs that the organization has outgrown the system behind the work—even if every individual tool still technically functions.

01Your team copies the same information between multiple systems.

02Leads enter your organization, but no one has mapped what happens next.

03Your CRM technically works, but no one trusts or consistently uses it.

04Every project requires someone to recreate the same tasks and notifications.

05Your MarTech stack has grown without an overall architecture.

06Your SharePoint or Microsoft 365 environment is difficult to navigate.

07You know AI could help, but you do not know where it actually belongs.

08Your organization relies on one person remembering the next step.

09Processes that worked at 20 employees are breaking at 100.

10Multiple platforms should communicate, but do not.

11You need technology leadership but are not ready for a full-time CTO.

12You need operational leadership with more technical depth than a traditional COO.

Platform-flexible. Problem-led.

The business need should drive the solution—not force every client into the same software stack.
